From talented young actors bringing beloved characters to life, to dedicated crew members managing set designs and technical aspects, every participant has poured their heart and soul into making this production a resounding success.
Under the guidance of passionate teachers and directors, the students at Yowell Elementary have undergone rigorous rehearsals and preparations, honing their skills and perfecting their performances to deliver a captivating rendition of Rudyard Kipling's timeless tale. My name is Paige Herron and I am a stage crew member for the play. My job is to help put Kaa the Snake together. I also get to help hand out programs before the show. A few things that I like about the musical are that you can improve your voice. It feels like you are leaving a singing lesson from Mrs. Pratt. It is also a great way to learn acting skills and get ready for future auditions. I cannot describe how much fun it is to practice. It’s a hard thing to do, but it is so fun to see your progress and it’s a great time having fun and making new friends. Dancing is fun and it’s amazing getting into character and monkeying around. The songs, singing and the lines are just the best. It’s so good for you to come out of your shell.
