The Stallion Singers, composed of select 4th and 5th grade students from Yowell Elementary School, sang in their spring concert on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. The choir met before school, once a week, from January until May under the direction of Yowell Elementary Music Teacher Kelsey Pratt. Throughout their rehearsals, the young singers focused on vocal technique, basic choral skills, and working together to create something beautiful.
The students’ voices rang through the gym on Tuesday night as they had the opportunity to sing five songs for their families and friends. Their hard work and dedication paid off as many adults in the audience watched through teary eyes.
This club was a part of the CCPS ESSER III Set-Asides Before & After School grant.
