🦅Thanks to generous donations, Robert and Elizabeth Haynes from Earthquest were able to visit our school before break. This non-profit organization provides environmental and conservation education using non-releasable birds of prey and rescued parrots. The students were excited to meet a hawk, barred owl, black vulture, a kestrel and Storm the Andean condor. It was an unforgettable experience!

🐣 Mrs. McMahon's class partnered with Culpeper County 4-H for the "Embryology in the Classroom" program. After 21 days, students were thrilled to watch chicks hatch and spend a week caring for them. They enjoyed reading to the chicks and sharing their love of books.📚

🏎️The Farmington Flyers Soap Box Derby Club hit the track at Paul Bates Raceway for an exciting field trip. Our young racers had the incredible opportunity of meeting some of the founding people of our local derby. After reviewing the basics of steering and braking and going through a safety check, drivers got to hop into a derby car and experience the thrill of the track. 🏁

📚🏛️ History came to life last week! Fourth-grade students took a fascinating field trip to the home of James Madison, the "Father of the Constitution." They had fun while exploring the historic estate of Montpelier.
