Emerald Hill is excited to announce that this year we will be hosting a Staff Talent Show! Our Staff Talent Show will be February 22nd at 5:30pm in our gymnasium. Tickets will be offered through pre-sales only through the CCPS SchoolCash Website. Sales go live on Monday. If you haven’t set up your CCPS SchoolCash account yet, here is the link to the website.
At the Staff Talent Show, different teachers and teams will put on performances for a fun time! We will have concessions available for sale by cash only and we will be having a live auction for students to pie a couple special staff members during the event. Students will also get to vote on winning performances. All proceeds of the event will go towards making this year's Teacher Appreciation Week even more special for our staff. We hope to see you there!
We will be wrapping up the Kids Heart Challenge Friday, February 16th. Any student who signs up, completes Finn's Mission, or gets a donation by Tuesday, February 13th, will receive an additional prize!

Mrs. Bridges' class had a video call with author Ann Marie Stephens for World Read Aloud Day. She shared her book Arithmechicks Play Fair, a book about fractions. They got to ask questions about what it's like to be an author, where she gets her ideas from, and more!

We had a great full week of school this week and we enjoyed celebrating being 100 days smarter! It is always nice to be in the building and see all the happy faces in the hallway!
This coming week we will be practicing a high level threat drill. During the drill, the office will not be able to answer the door or phones. If you happen to come to the building or call during this time, please be patient as we practice the procedures for this drill.
