Second graders in Mrs. Aylor's class created dioramas on their unit of animals and habitats. Noticed that the project went beyond paper - some used Legos to represent structures in habitats or animals themselves.

Mr. Hallett's 5th graders enjoyed a pizza party courtesy of Prodigy for winning the school competition of March mathness!
The contest continues, however, through May 14 - keep an eye out for information on a family event to help us achieve more with state and national rankings.

Students just completed a climbing unit in P.E. with Mr. Goetz!

Thanks to everyone who participated in March Mathness. For March, AGR answred over 165,000 questions. Our winner for March Mathness is Mr. Hallett's class! Congrats to Mrs. Aylor's class for 2nd place. Students , please use Prodigy over break to get more free things.

Fourth graders have been designing quadrilateral stained glass windows this week. Stay tuned for the “shrinky dink” effect!!

Students in Ms. Sheads' 5th grade class work together to build scenarios with two dimensions. Using the information from their completed builds, they then calculated the area formula by discussing a consistent pattern between the dimensions and total squares used!

Our next Spirit Night is scheduled for Monday, April 7th! Please see the flyer below for information, or call the school at (540) 825-0616.
